About the Artist
Mia Raines has been producing art since childhood. She has formal training and degrees from San Jose State University. Throughout her life she has produced many one-of-a-kind works, such as abstracts, portraits, sculptures, and murals in a variety of mediums as well as mass produced commercial works.
Many hundreds of hours go into the research and creation of her distinct and unique maps. The attention to detail and vibrant colors make her maps a real keepsake. They are produced into many forms including signed souvenir and fold out maps, lithographs and printed on apparel, coffee cups, place mats and more. They are also added to the cities internet site to be interactive and linked to each business and events.
Mia has taught all ages in California, Washington and Arizona.
