LAKE STEVENS, WASHINGTON
The Lake Stevens map was created as a joint venture with the Chamber of Commerce and prominent business owners around Lake Stevens as a celebration of this wonderful community. The map was painted with such fine detail that some of the images were created with a one hair brush under a microscope. The map displays a great deal of folklore from the celebrated bald eagle family that hatches its young ever year in nestled tree to the famous chicken that is often found around the city in unsuspecting surprising places. The back of the map lists each business with all their pertinent information and is sprinkled with historical details about the city and also includes a directional city map. The maps were produced into a fold up version to a series of signed lithographs as well as all types of attire, dish ware, place maps and many businesses have used their painted site for their promotional attractions.
The maps were widely circulated to bring awareness to this great community through local business, Barnes and Nobles and as a center piece for the yearly Aqua Fest.
